What’s Happening on the Scenic Sip Wine Trail This April

As the vineyards begin to bud and the Okanagan Valley shifts into spring, wineries along the trail are celebrating BC Wine Month with tastings, seasonal menus, and special events throughout April.
The highlight of the month is Sip Into Spring on April 18 (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.), a trail-wide event that brings together six wineries for a day of curated food and wine experiences. Each winery offers something unique, allowing visitors to customize their own wine tour while enjoying the best of spring in Lake Country.

Alongside Sip Into Spring, there are plenty of additional experiences to enjoy throughout the month—from Easter markets and brunches to wine dinners and seasonal features.
• Gray Monk Winery is celebrating BC Wine Month throughout April with complimentary Monk's tastings when you purchase two bottles of wine, making it a great time to explore their portfolio.
• April 4 (11 a.m. – 5 p.m.) – Easter Market
Browse local vendors and enjoy a festive spring atmosphere at the winery.
• April 18 (11 a.m. – 5 p.m.) – Sip Into Spring
Enjoy an interactive experience featuring complimentary wine trivia with prizes (while supplies last), along with their refreshing Pinot Freezio feature ($15 per person) in support of the Lake Country Food Bank. Walk-ins are welcome, and no tickets are required.
• April 26 (3 – 5:30 p.m.) – Paint & Sip
A guided painting experience paired with wine, perfect for a creative afternoon.
• April 30 – Best of the West Dinner A special five-course dinner and wine pairing featuring collaborations with five wineries, showcasing regional flavours and wines.
• Throughout April – Soup & Wine Flights
Enjoy a curated pairing of three soups with Ex Nihilo wines, perfect for early spring.
• April 3–5 – Easter Weekend Prizes
With every bottle purchase, guests can draw a prize-filled Easter egg.
• April 18 (11 a.m. – 5 p.m.) – Sip Into Spring
Take part in a herb and edible flower planting station ($10 donation to the food bank), enjoy a spring wine flight featuring new releases, and savour fresh bites hot off the grill.
Tickets are available online, and walk-ins are welcome.
• Intrigue Wines is celebrating BC Wine Month with complimentary tastings with any wine purchase throughout April.
• April 18 (11 a.m. – 5 p.m.) – Sip Into Spring Experience Flavours of Spring, a curated tasting featuring sweet and savoury seasonal bites paired with award-winning wines. This experience is $12 per person, with tickets available online and walk-ins welcome while quantities last.
• All April – Spring Menu at BLOCK ONE Restaurant
Enjoy a seasonal menu designed to pair beautifully with their wines.
• April 18 (11 a.m. – 5 p.m.) – Sip Into Spring
Visit the Gravity Lounge for a scallop and pork belly action station paired with Pinot Gris, and enjoy happy hour pricing all day. Tickets are $15 per person, with advance booking available and walk-ins welcome.
• April 4–5 (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.) – Final Brunch at the Garden Bistro
Enjoy one last brunch service before the season shifts.
• April 18 (11 a.m. – 5 p.m.) – Sip Into Spring Join a backyard-style gathering featuring fresh roasted lamb paired with a curated wine flight, perfect for a laid-back spring afternoon. Walk-ins are welcome.
While Blind Tiger Vineyards officially reopens on May 1, they are joining the trail for Sip Into Spring.

Enjoy a pulled pork slider topped with goat cheese and house-made jalapeño jelly, paired with a signature wine slush. This experience is $12.95 per person, with tickets available online and walk-ins welcome.
